After 5 p.m.  February 28 2018, all payments must be paid at the Shiawassee County Courthouse.  Some time must be allowed after March 1, 2018, to reconcile and submit data from the Township to the County, before they can accept payments.  Checks received after 5 p.m.  on February 28, 2018 in any manner will be turned over to the County for processing.

Dog licenses are available through February 28, 2018.  Unsexed animals are $10.00; male or female $30.  Proof of current rabies vaccine is required to purchase dog licenses by mail or in person.  As of March 1, fees double and licenses are only available at the County Court House.

Most mortgage companies do not require a paper copy of tax bills and will accept information sent electronically.  Many banks and credit unions do not contact the township for this but do contract their tax information collection with a service provider such as Core Logic and Lareta.  Please make sure your mortgage holder knows that they must request the tax information.  It is not automatically sent and must be requested for each tax season.
